Can a receiver with built in bluetooth connect to Ipod touch with bluetooth attachment?

I have a bluetooth attachment that plugs into the bottom of my Ipod touch and I'm wondering, before I buy a receiver with built in bluetooth, if the Ipod can connect to the receiver and be played via bluetooth.

Not at the moment because Apple deactived it!!!! But the bluetooth chip is inside the ipod touch if you can find a way to hack it!
