Modem Gps

GPS as a modem or from> internet connection?

im getting a Nokia N810 or an I-Mate Ultimate 9502 (if I can get enough money for the brick giant) and they both have GPS. i dont plan to use either on a network. But I heard something that you can manipulate the signal GPS to retrieve information from the internet ..... I wondered how it is, even if all the software I download or any firmware to be changed. Thank you! ps Dont Leave clever remarks as "his use GPS for what its done for '. Either answer the question or do not. I didn't post this question so you can say you do not know and get 5 points.

You can not use portion Nokia N810 GPS to retrieve information or anything from the Internet. Hardware GPS Chipset is to receive and can not transmit signal. That ye may be able to pull things off the Internet, you must specify a server that is you want to pull - so you need a device that transmits and systems. The Global Positioning System is in no way connected to the Internet or cellular networks or television or radio - is its "own independent system that does not communicate with other systems accessible to the public http://www.sourcegps.com.
