My eyes Bubbly Goldfish lies at the bottom of the tank.?
All my other 3 goldfish look very healthy with my angel fish is well soaked to one. I use a tank of 40-50 liters, 2 filters i monthly rotation, and changes in 10L water each week, with water conditioned ive left for about 2-3 days. I use ammonia and Exhibit 7 test strips to check the water regularly and always pH levels of nitrates and ammonia. The average temperature varies from 72 to 76 degrees All levels are in check and all other fish is, to my knowledge healthy. It is the latest addition to a fish tank with another comet about 3 months ago, and has this habit of lying on the bottom of the reservoir area even from time to time. But when lunchtime arrives, he seems active, but there is usually looking for food longer than other fish. that night and sometimes all day, he returns to his tank bottom, bringing Im not sure if hes hungry or has to be built habit .... since you do not have ammonia must be a reason. the fish is not used for tank and need time to adjust to new surroundings. did you leave the fish in the bag and lay on top of the water for 15 minutes for the fish to settle? I had fish for about a year and I havent seen a fish lay on the gravel or the bottom of the tank at all. when he usually does, the situation in water is bad or the water is not at their level perfered such as temperature or pH.
