What do the stars or dots mean on an enlisted aviation warfare specialist insignia??

The dots or the "berries" are usually on all Navy breast insignia wings, enlisted or officer, and indicate that the particular wings were designed for WWII to present. The naval wings that were around pre-WWII(Naval Aviator, i.e.) don't have the berries on the insignia.
